Biography
I operate a one man woodworking shop in Bakersfield California. In 2003, I "changed careers" after a 30 year stint in the oil production business. I am now working full time at my passion - creating beautiful furniture.
I have been building furniture in one form or another as long as I can remember. For most of that time, I have been self-taught. I have also enrolled in a number of one to three week workshops with some of the leading furniture designers and craftspeople in the country (Gail Freidell, Isabella Moore, Peter Pierobon, Stephen Proctor, Brian Reid, and Paul Schurch) This exposure has made a huge impact on both my design and craft skills.
I hope that I can combine a bit of talent with some spectacular woods to create beautiful furniture.
