It typically draws 300-400 entries. It is hosted by the San Diego Fine Woodworking Association. The editor of Fine Woodworking magazine has described it as "the biggest and best woodworking exhibition in the country". Fine Art Woodworking Exhibition is a juried exhibition hosted by the Orange County Fine Woodworkers Association. It is a large event that is run in conjunction with the Orange County Fair.
