The primary wood on the surface of this table is quilted Makore. This is perhaps the most striking example of chatoyance, or the varying reflective quality of wood grains, that I have ever seen. It has a striking 3 dimensional quality that appears to move as you walk around the table. Other woods include Fiddleback Maple, Padauk, and Ebony. Dimensions are 96" L x 42" W x 30" H. |
